Abstract
결론
원광대학교 치과병원 소아치과에서는 내원 소아치과 교정환자를 대상으로 교정치료과정에
환자의 적극적인 협조를 이끌어내는 방법과 교정치료의 기술적인 측면뿐만 아니라, 흔히 소
홀히 되고 있는 구강위생 상태의 불결로 인한 치아우식증과 치은염 유발 가능성에 대한 예
방에 촛점을 맞추엇 다음과 같은 교정환자 관리법을 활용하고 있다.
1. 환자의 적극적인 협조를 얻기 위한 관리방법
-Behavior management chart

2. 환자의 구강위생 상태의 관리방법
-구강위생 상태 평가및 우식활성 검사
o 개량구강위 생관리능력지수(PHP-M(?) : index) 산출
o Methyl red 검사
o Alban 검사
o 타액완충능 검사
o구강내 포도당잔류시간 검사
-구강위생 상태의 개선및 예방처치
o잇솔질 방법및 치실 상용법 교습
o 연구전색
o 불소도포
o 불소양치용액 처방
o 식이조절
위와같은 소아치과 교정환자의 관리를 시행한 결과 비교적 치료기간이 긴 교정치료과정을
통하여 유발될 수 있는 구강병을 예방할 수 있었고 소아와 보호자의 구강보건에 대한 인식
과 행동을 증진시킬 수 있었다고 사료되었다.

The main objectives of this management system of orthodontic patients were to get
the best cooperation of the patients in orthodontic treatment procedures which used the
removable orthodontic appliances in most of cases and to make sure the most high level
of oral health during the treatment period.
